In memory of 89th anniversary of Hoff Lu's birth, the 1st Annual Conference jointly held by the Federation (BRTRF) and Beijing Division of Hoff Lu Institute (HLRIMERS) at the graduate school of CAS on Aug 16-17,2003. There were almost 70 delegates from 24 provinces of China and Canada to praise Hoff Lu's great life and career, and discuss academic developments on the Relativity and science history. The conference received 132 papers about Relativity including major articles, also keynote speeches as follows:

An article on theses of the conference will be published in the book and magazine Matter Regularity.

The host of the conference was Prof. Wang, De-yun and Chairman Wu, Shui-ging gave an annual report of the federation. The report ended by quoting the words from Prof. Li, Zhi-cao "I willingly became a log to speed academic fire to flaming" to encourage all attendents in order to not feel regret and sorrow when they go to see Hoff Lu after he died. Guest speakers including Chairman of HLRIMES Lester Lu; Hoff Lu's brother, Former Ambassador to Turkey Liu, Hua; Hoff Lu's early student, Senior Prof. Lai, Zhu-wu; Visiting scholar of Harvard Yan, Shi-guang were welcomed by the attendents.

Deputy Secretary Prof. Liu, Guong read the greeting letters from Academician Ma, Da-you, Academician Wang, Shou-quan, Vice Chairman of HLRIMERS Mike Lu, and American Physicist Lee Shimmin who said, "For myself, I think I pursue this deeper understanding of how nature works simply out of a perverse curiosity and because I compulsively clean up messes that other people have left behind. My best wishes to all the participants."

In following sessions, 36 delegates gave a presentation of their academic papers. Also, there were great discussions in panel session. After question and answer, the 9 judges gave 16 speakers great honor as Excellent Thesis with the certificate.

The 25th Hoff Lu Forum, hosted by Prof. Wang, Guo-wu, was held at the High Energy Physics Institute of CAS on June 7, 2003, the 89th anniversary of Hoff Lu's birth. Prof. Wu, Shui-qing gave a speech entitled " American Scholars Comments about Hoff Lu", from interviewed with those scholars there in the United States which was published in the China Press of the United States on June 24. Meanwhile, family members and friends remembered Hoff Lu by bringing flowers to his sculpture at First Baptist Academy in Houston, Texas. Also, work has been started which will honor Hoff Lu at his alma mater ( University of Minnesota ) next year on the 90th anniversary of his birth.

The internet news of Pacific Times in Hawaii on Feb.13 had a special edition in memory of the Father of Nuclear Energy in China, Hoff Lu. In Memory of Hoff Lu's 10th Anniversary Hoff Lu's contemplative, provocative reasoning and autograph, "Why is it that native Chinese physicists have always been overlooked for a Nobel Prize?" At his 6th anniversary death, Beijing Relativity Theory Research Federation discussed Hoff Lu's immortal mind and his provocative question. Also, at the First Anniversary Conference in Beijing which will be held May 24, 2003, American Physicist, Honorary Vice Chairman, W. Lee Shimmin will present his new paper, "The Lorentz Theory of Gravity." On the morning of Jan. 8, 2003 3rd anniversary of John(Yung-Chiang) Lu's death, his family members gave a Family Memorial Service to honor and bury him at Glenwood Cemetery. His widow Tsan Chin Huang and his daughter Grace Lu; brother Lester Lu and his wife Kathyleen Ma; brother Mike Lu, his son Keshi Lu; and John's ex-wife Jane Wu attended. Some close family friends also attended the service: Professor Ed and Mary Hungerford, William Morris, Dr. Fred and Marlane Minton, Pastor Frank and Joyce Minton, Sweden Consul Jan and Mary Dryselius, former Congressman Steve Stockman, Physicist Lee Shimmin, Pastor John and Lori Benson, relatives, and friends, totalling thirty people.

The service departed from Winford Funeral Home in beautiful, traditional Chinese style. Three police motorcycles escorted two limousines with John's ashes and family members to the cemetery.

The Pastor of Sugarcreek Baptist Church Frank Minton held the service. The family representative and brother Mike Lu also spoke.

Mike Lu said, "John was a great gentleman. He loved God, loved our father Hoff Lu, he loved his family, he loved America and his motherland China. His life was a great story, a Chinese scholar, how to find the American dream, and how to find Jesus. This story is enough to write a great novel, to accompany our great father Hoff Lu's story in the last century. After he came to Houston, he chose to become a U.S. citizen. Today he finally and forever rests in this great land of the United States of America...

John, we will greatly miss you. You will always live in our hearts. We love you forever...

Associate Pastor of Sagemont Church John Benson sang a great song "Amazing Grace", his delicate voice exciting all attendants.

After burying John's ashes in the grave, just under the U.S. flag, the family members one by one gave flower tributes and the attendants paid their final respect to John while Pastor Frank read the Bible.

Also, there were scholars gathering in the Beijing Division of HLRIMERS in Beijing, China on the same day to remember John.

On Jan. 14, 2003, the documentary Hoff Lu English version was first time played by CCTV-9 to China, and the United States after almost a week of John's memorial service.

On Oct. 19, 2002, the 15th Hoff Lu Forum of the Beijing Division of HLRIMERS was held by the Dean of the office Prof. Guo-wu Wang王国武. Prof. Chang-jiang Kou寇长江 made the keynote address, "Hoff Lu challenged Relativity in final years" in which he described the historical process, two conclusions, background, and difference between Mach's Principle and Relativity. He pointed out that Hoff Lu's final paper was the sum of a life of academic research, it was a well - thought, carefully planned publication. In Prof. Kou's words, "Replace the concepts, Return to truth". Also, Prof. Shui - qing Wu吴水清 announced, our institute was chosen by votes as the host of 13th Annual Academic Conference of Physics History by the Physics Professional Committer of China National Science History Association on July 21, 2004 to honor Hoff Lu's 90th anniversary of birth in Shanghai. It was a decision made by the 12th Annual Academic Conference on Oct. 13, 2002 at Datong City, Shanxi. Chairman Lester Lu 卢永亮made the keynote speech "Three characters of Hoff Lu's mind", Prof. Shi Shen沈施 also spoke both greatly welcomed by attendants there.

For a new literary biography "Hoff Lu's Profile" , author and journalist Jiang Gu古江 and television reporter Zhi Yao姚智 from Hawaii( Pacifictimes.net ) have visited Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Huangzhou in China. They interviewed more than 80 of Hoff Lu's relatives and students, scholars, scientists, and other authorities between Sep. 8 and Sep. 18. Mr. Gu said, "Hoff Lu's love was great love. He loved all the world's people. I made a life decision to follow Hoff Lu, learn Hoff Lu, study Hoff Lu, and step Hoff Lu's way after I read the book "Hoff Lu's Chronological Table". On Sep. 10, the Beijing Division of HLRIMERS c/o 14th Hoff Lu Forum had a welcoming conference for Mr. Gu and Mr. Yai, Chairman of the Division Prof. Shui-qing Wu吴水清 gave a lecture, "Far away but Forever Memory Hoff Lu". The former President Zhi-peng Zheng郑志鹏 of Institute of High Energy Physics of CAS recalled Hoff Lu's great vision about the accelerator and that finally history proved Hoff Lu was right. The senior engineer of CAS Ying-ping Zhang张英平 was Hoff Lu's student. He recalled Hoff Lu's great mastery and expertise in science, and Hoff Lu's great skill of Peking Opera, more than like Einstein played violin, and Fermi played drums. Prof. Jun-da Cui崔君达 specially came from Tianjin to join. In Tianjin, Mr. Gu and Mr. Yao interviewed Hoff Lu' relatives and friends. There was a special welcoming conference held in Shanghai and Huangzhou by Chairman Lester Lu卢永亮. Old friend Ci-he Lu卢慈和, the widow of Prof. Zhen-lin Li李振麟, and her daughter Prof. Lan-tian Li李兰田 were interviewed. The former Head Authority of Fudan Univ. Ling Wang王零 was interviewed at the hospital who knows Hoff Lu almost 45 years with own respect; Hoff Lu's student, Vice-President of Fuden Univ. Prof. Chao-hao Gu谷超豪; Old friend Zhe-Zhao Li李哲昭; Hoff Lu's student former Vice-President of Zhejiang Univ. Prof. Wen-Zhu Li李文铸 also were interviewed. Mr. Gu caught cold in Tianjin, but still finished all interviews with Mr. Yao's video recorder. A lot of work!

On July 21,2002, In Beijing, the 12th Hoff Lu's Forum and Working Conference of the Beijing Division of Hoff Lu Institute (HLRIMERS) was held by Prof. Shui-ging Wu吴水清, Chairman of the Beijing Division. Prof. Zhen-dong Wu武振东, Secretary of the Federation (BRTRF) read the remark of Chairman Lester Lu卢永亮 about their work report. Prof. Jing-Zhi Bai白景芝, Secretary of the Federation (BRTRF) re-announced the list of new board members. The First Author of Relativity Monograph in China, Prof. Quan Zheng郑铨 gave a lecture on "Time and Space Point of View is the Foundation of Physics " in a ninety minute time frame. In great detail, he introduced the history of physics after Newton. In conclusion, some principle of 'light speed not changable' is not very exact and the verifies of Relativity seems like have not been well verified. The audiences gave his speech a big applause and appreciated his great achievement to physics and Hoff Lu's Institute. The scholars and audiences also gave 19 speeches to the conference with different point of views on Relativity.

In Memory of the 88th Anniversary of the Birth of Hoff Lu, the Father of Nuclear Energy in China

Hoff Lu's relatives in Houston, Texas came and, in respect and deepest memory, offered a flower at the foot of Academician Hoff Lu's sculpture at the Hoff Lu Science Lab in Houston First Baptist Academy. ...Though Hoff Lu has left us, he lives in people's hearts forever.

On May 27, more than 30 scholars, editors, professors and specialists gathered at the opening of the Beijing Relativity Theory Research Federation, jointly held by the Beijing Division of HLRIMRS and the TianDiShengRen (Universal) Academic Forum. Prof. Tsao Chang张操 from the United States gave a successful speech about Relativism and answered many questions from the audiences. The Hoff Lu Scientific and Educated Mind Conference was jointly held by the Hoff Lu Institute of Matter Regularity, Fudan Modern Physics Institute, Shanghai 93 Association and the Physics Professional Committee of China National Science History Association at Hai Lun Hotel yesterday. Speakers such as Fu-jia Yang杨福家 and Chao-hao Gu谷超豪 , academicians of the Chinese Academy of Science, highly appraised the achievement of their teacher Hoff Lu. In 1991, Hoff Lu and his disciple Shi-ming Wang王世明王世 published the paper, "A Direct Test of Mach's Principle", which became a new chapter of physics theory.

My overall impression was that he was a scholarly man who really enjoyed the work he was doing. It was only later and gradually that I learned how much of a patriot he was and how much a man of integrity he was.

My answer is direct: men of character, integrity, and loyalty. All of these three virtues no doubt came from their father, Professor Hoff Lu.

10th Annual China Physics History Academic Conference held in Capital Normal University by Society for the Science and Technology of China on Aug. 17- 20, 2000. There were more than 50 representatives from more than 30 universities, colleges, science associations and publishers as the attendants. In the conference, there were more than 40 academic reports and scientific papers . The keynote speakers focused on the Future of Modern Physics and Ancient, Modern Physics History Development in China. Delegates of Hoff Lu Research Institute of Matter Regularity of Shanghai (HLRIMRS) lead by Chairman Yong Liang Lu, including five delegates from China and two delegates from U. S. A. were invited to the International Congress-2000. The focus of the Congress was "Fundamental Problems of Natural Sciences and Engineering". This was sponsored by the Russian Academy of Sciences, The St.-Petersburg State University, The Russian Geographical Society, The Russian Geological Society, The International Academy of Informatization and Control Systems, The International Scientists Club as well as the highly estimable and most reputable Hoff Lu Research Institute. The respected Congress Symposium in St.-Petersburg was held July 3 - 8, 2000. Dr. Jia Grace Lu and Professor Shi-Ming Wang were the Keynote Speakers presenting the rewritten Hoff Lu's manuscript, "On The Universal Quantum-Gravitation Equation and Dirac Hypothesis" , at the Grand Opening of the conference July 3, 2000. After the plenary sessions Dr. Jia Grace Lu was interviewed by Russian local televisions and Shanghai Oriental TV with the host Professor Jar. G. Klyushin, Chairman of International Club of Scientists. Professor Klyushin concluded the visit by saying," here was the beginning of revital of our tradition of friendship of China and Russia and among global scientists and anyway".

Prof. Klyushin: One cannot believe that this beautiful lady is a Professor of Washington University of Applied Mathematics Physics, she is the granddaughter of prominent Chinese scientist Hoff Lu, after whom an Institute, a research institute is named. I have the pleasure to ask her some questions. Is it difficult for a lady to become a physicist?

Dr. Lu: I have been very interested in this since very young, due to family influence. My grandpa and one of my uncle are in physics. Most of time I am the only lady, only girl in classroom, but I enjoyed the subject.

Prof. Klyushin: When a person enjoys something they are successful in the field and I see that you have been successful in your field and your report together with Professor Wang produced an effect on our audience. Can you repeat the main point, just main point of your talk?

Dr. Lu: My grandfather had worked on this theory since 1976 and as Stephen Hawkin had mentioned that General Relativity had a pitfall by predicting a singularity point for the beginning of the Universe. So what we need is the unification of general relativity and Quantum Mechanics, so in our model we presented a model for gravitational and electro-magnetic vortex and by this vortex model, the Idea of mass energy relation is to hold re. equal E= mc² square, and base on that the energy of the Universe has to be 0, We can derive the Quantum gravitation equation and also the classical Universe equation and from all this we had predicted there were 10⁶⁷primordial plank cosmoses in the beginning of the Universe.

Prof. Klyushin: I see this is very interesting, I believe that your visit here was the beginning of revital of our tradition of friendship of China and Russia, and among global scientists, and anyway, I'd like to express my pleasure to participate in all your activities and as much as I can to help you. I'll try to help you in your investigations.
